Katy brings a broad range of experience in administrative law and state government to our firm. Daughter of small business owners, Katy grew up wanting to serve the public. She began her career as Legislative Director to a senior Texas State Representative, where she implemented a strong legislative agenda. This experience gave her a look into how the law is formulated, which can leave client's feeling confident she knows the ins and outs of the law. Since law school, Katy has represented clients at the Texas Legislature, and among state agencies in contested case hearings and the permitting process.
Katy earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School where she concentrated in Administrative Law. She was the recipient of the 2015 Joe B. Allen Award in Administrative Law and served as Law Clerk to the State Office of Administrative Hearings where she wrote numerous opinions and supported the administrative judges.
