On October 20th to the 21st, the Military and Veterans Law Section of the State Bar of Texas will be holding its Fall CLE in Galveston, Texas. Military and Veterans Law Section members include active duty, reserve, and retired judge advocates of all branches of the military, as well as civilian lawyers who have interest in issues affecting the military and veterans law. The section meets three times a year at locations throughout the state, in order to give members the opportunity to experience valuable continuing legal education on relevant topics at an affordable price. Our Managing Partner, Michael R. Parker, and Senior Associate Attorney, James O. Gibbs, are honored to have the opportunity to present at this year’s Fall CLE in Galveston. Michael and James’ presentation, “Texas Code of Military Justice Update,” will provide an hour long update on selected recent developments in changes to Texas Uniform Code of Military Justice, which applies to all members of the Texas state military forces who are not in federal service.
