Marvin J. Straus Presents Insurance Ethics Class to SDIAA
April 14, 2016, San Diego
Marvin J. Straus, Partner in the San Diego office, presented a class on insurance ethics to the San Diego Insurance Adjusters Association (SDIAA) on April 14, 2016 in San Diego, California. Straus’ class, titled Insurance Ethics: What’s In It For Me?, focused on the importance of staying honest and principled in all matters concerning insurance law, insurance fraud defense, and insurance investigations. With a successful legal career dedicated to complex fraud litigation and bad faith insurance defense, Straus, who is also the Legal and Legislative Chairperson for the Board of Governors for the SDIAA, was able to provide unparalleled insight and unique knowledge to those in attendance.
The SDIAA was founded back in 1945 as a small professional adjuster organization. Today, it is the largest in San Diego – more than 450 members are currently active – and it is renowned for helping insurance industry professionals work efficiently with the businesses they deal with and represent. Part of Straus’ role at the SDIAA as a chairperson is to continue to educate members about the litigation aspects surrounding insurance law.
